Xaraya is reaching 1.0 over the coming weeks. Will Mats consider porting the OWL over to Xaraya?
Note: Rest assured, There will be a Xaraya version out soon. There has been an increasing demand for NukeOwl, not only for xaraya, but also PHPnuke, PostNuke and Envolution. I'm currently trying to apply some structure to the Owl so that it will be possible to maintain the code for different platforms, without breaking my back while doing it.
A version of NukeOwl 2.2 modified to run under Envolution 1.0 is now available in the NukeOwl folder /Documents/NukeOwl
The file is named NukeOwl_2.2_Envolution.zip and also contains the previously announced bugfix (filedelete)
A bug fix is now available in folder /Documents/NukeOwl/Updates. The bug ocurred when an ordinary user (non admin) tried to delete a file that he had previously uploaded.
To update your NukOwl installation just copy the pnformsapi.php to your nukeowl directory.
Today is another black day for the PostNuke community.
A major part of the management and development teams resigned from the PostNuke development team today, and I think it is a really bad thing for the PN community that the recent events have led up to this.
As things stand right now the really big question is; will PostNuke live to see the release of version 1.0?
Greg Allan a.k.a. Adam_Baum, the lead core developer and one of the four founding members of the PostNuke CMS Development Project passed away from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. The accident occurred June 16, 2002 near his home in Meaford, Ontario in Canada.
A new version of NukeOwl 2.2 is now available at /Documents/NukeOwl.
There is also a preview version of the NukeOwl 2.2 User Guide available at /Documents/NukeOwl/NukeOwl_2.2-pdf. This user guide is not yet complete, there are still some explanataory texts that has to be edited.
At last, the PN .71 version of NukeOwl is now available for download.
All of you that have been waiting to test this version are welcome to try it out, and at the same time help me chase bugs.
I have not put the file in the download section since this is a beta, but you will find it if you follow the NukeOwl link in the menu, and then go into the NukeOwl folder. Note: And guys, be careful out there
NukeOWL is a great tool for sharing documents in intranet site.
The downloads directory has now been installed on the server. It was overlooked in the transfer between servers and PostNuke versions.
But now it should be ok to download again.
